Repair Process

If you’ve been in an accident, or your vehicle has damage that you would like repaired by the very best in the business, simply call us to drop off your vehicle or we can arrange to have your vehicle towed if necessary to our repair facility. DeColores Collision Center repair process ensures your vehicle is inspected and repaired only by industry-certified technicians, whose priority is getting you back on the road safely. We work with all major insurance companies and our expert repairs are backed by multiple inspections and checks—so we’re happy to offer you a lifetime guarantee on every repair we do.

1st: Vehicle Drop Off.

An accident is stressful enough. If you’ve been in an accident, or your vehicle has damage you’d like repaired, call us at (305) 649-0595. We’ll work with you to get your vehicle here, so you can get back behind the wheel as soon as possible. We work collaboratively with leading insurance companies to assess the damage, provide a free estimate, and obtain the necessary insurance approvals before we begin making repairs.

2nd: Get Rental Car (Optional).

Life doesn’t stop because of an accident. Keep moving with the help of Enterprise Rent-a-Car or Hertz rental cars. Simply let us know that you’ll need a car while yours is being repaired, and we’ll get the paperwork started and begin working with your insurance company for rental reimbursement. That way, all you have to worry about is moving your stuff from one car to another. Rental vehicles are kept on sight for your convenience.

3rd: The damage inspection and estimate process

DeColores Collision Center of Miami is Southern Florida’s trusted collision repair facility. We earned this distinction by consistently going the extra mile for our clients. Making sure we perform an accurate inspection of all damages and securing an agreed price with your Insurance company to properly repair your vehicle is one of the most crucial parts of the repair process. We will work with your insurance company on your behalf so you don’t have to.

4th: The Body Repair

After your vehicle is evaluated and we’ve obtained the necessary insurance approvals, it moves into the body shop area, where we remove all parts requiring repair or replacement, and perform body and structural repair work. Meanwhile, all repair work undergoes a rigorous quality control throughout the repair process to ensure your vehicle is put back to pre-loss conditions. As part of our commitment to you we pride ourselves on delivering a finished product that meets or exceeds factory standards.

5th: Refinishing, Polishing & reassembly

Once body work is complete, your vehicle begins the refinish process. First, our expert painters utilize computer technology to find the exact color match based on manufacturer codes before applying paint. We have our own state of the art paint mixing lab. Once the refinish process is complete your vehicle is then polished and prepared for reassembly before entering another quality control checkpoint.

Your vehicle returns to the body shop where it is reassembled with all required parts involved in the repair. Once assembled, it enters a final quality control check to ensure all authorized repair work is completed and that the job reflects our standard of excellence.

A quality repair is not complete until we treat your vehicle to a complete wash, wax and vacuum. This final step ensures your vehicle will look pristine upon pick up and allows us to check cosmetic repairs one last time.

The safety and complete satisfaction of our customers is DeColores Collision Center’s top priority. That’s why we’ve developed and implemented one of the most rigorous quality assurance programs in the industry. When you leave your vehicle with us, we’ll hand back the keys hassle-free once your vehicle is returned to its pre-accident condition. That is our promise.

6th: Vehicle Ready for Pickup

As soon as your repair is complete, our team will contact you and invite you in for the final inspection and paperwork. Your service advisor will review the vehicle and repairs side-by-side before completing the final documentation and handing back your keys.

Finally, you’ll drive away with our worry-free lifetime warranty, a written promise backing all of our repair work as long as you own your car.
